Why and how these books came to be: The following lyrics, and words were written from 2000 to 2003. Some have been placed in books, booklets, songs and now these books. I would first like to thank God for giving me this gift for writing that I didn't know I had until 2000 when I was attending our local community college, College of the Desert. I think these are some of my best poems, I tried to pick 100 of the best ones to put into this book. They are in no particular order.
Some of these poems were written because of assignments from college professors at COD, college of the desert. Some came about due to stress, love, anxiety, and thoughts of life. Some came about from suggestions. I would also like to thank my beautiful wife Debbie for standing by me through thick and thin, rich and poor, highs and lows. She has been the inspiration for many of these poems. I would also like to thank my children, family, and in laws for their love, affection, and encouragement. I would also like to thank all my teachers and professors in my college classes, they were encouraging and very helpful with my growth in writing. Some of the main professors were Mr. Ted Grofer, Mr. Terry Nicholson, Mr. Jack Tapleshay, and Ms. Ruth Nolan and Ms. Amy Dibello just to name a few.

The basic premise is a writer, (Claude Ranswont) getting nominated for best original screenplay and as the writer is writing his acceptance speech, (just in case he wins), he keeps thinking back into his past life moments that had the biggest impacts on his life. As he is thanking people in his life, he flashbacks to those special moments, both bad and good that shaped his life including jobs, coworkers, family members, and friends. The story is short, sweet and to the point, easy flow and easy to read and can easily be lengthened to a full length movie for the right director and producer if anyone knows anyone. Thanks again, enjoy and please share and tell all your friends. This book is a result of a college assignment in 2005 while going to Cal. State Northridge. It is a mixture of fiction, autobiography and wishful thinking. I was going to add to it, but I don’t know where to add extra pages. It was originally only for an hour long T.V. show, but it would make a great movie still. Anybody who wants to make a movie of this, feel free to contact me. All I ask is let me be part of production so I can help add extra scenes and discussions and maybe pay me a lot of money hopefully.
At the back of this book is a surprise, a play I wrote for an English class in 2002. It is entitled “Take A Sniff of This.” I hope you enjoy it.

Once again before I begin, I have to thank my lord and savior Jesus Christ for saving me from suicide and giving me the strength to survive and for giving me the gift to write poems that saved my life. These haikus are simple 5 syllable, 7 syllable, 5 syllable haikus. No other explanation or translation is included. Just fun, simple and easy haikus for the whole world to enjoy.
This book contains over 300 haikus that range from inspirational messages from the Bible, church, life, school and our vacation in 2007. Some were written in college classes between 2000-2005, but most were written this year 2020.

This 6th book is a compilation of old and new including some unpublished and published love poems written to and for my wife Debbie. I decided to put all of them together to separate them from all my other poems as a special gift to my wife and all my fans.
This book also contains some of my favorites. Some of these would make great songs if there are any musicians reading this. These poems show a taste of my poetic style and ability. More can be found in my other 5 books.
